Knocking the Penn's Down
In this weeks blog I really wanted to talk about Joe Frazier's death, but sadly this whole Penn State sex scandal is ridiculously hard not to talk about. This is not even a sports issue. This scandal lead to the firing of JOE PATERNO whose been coaching Penn State since 1964. It's sad the way his career ended at Penn State, but did he deserve it? ABSOLUTELY yes he deserved it. I mean if one of your assistant coaches walks up to you and tells you he seen another assistant sexually abusing a 10 year old boy in the shower room what would you do? You would go to the authorities right. But no, this man went to go tell the administrators and never went to the authorities. Freaking sad. The administrators were later arrested for perjury telling the court they were never informed about the incident. Bottom line is this, Joe Pa messed up by not taking any action on solving the problem and now karma came back to get him. Not only him but also Jerry Sandusky, the culprit, and basically the whole Penn State University. Still sucks Joe Pa ended the way he did though.

Fantasy Football
I think fantasy football was one of the smartest things that the sports world had came up with. Basically you yourself becomes the manager of your own team and you can choose the players that are available to you to be on your team. Each player will receive points for their performances in the actual games that they are playing in. All the points add up and your team needs more than the other team in order for you to win. What I hate the most is when you draft players so high that were expected to have good seasons, but they're really struggling and having an awful year. That's what's happening to me now with Chris Johnson. The man held out of training camp to get a pay raise and now that he got what he wanted, he's not producing on the field. That affects me and makes my chances of winning that much less and it gets frustrating. Chris Johnson, is a big fantasy bust this year!
